The Psychology of Guilt

Sunday, April 17th, at 6pm

Pride and guilt are the two most destructive forces at work in the human psyche. Feeding each other, and from each other, these forces flank us in our daily battles towards personal improvement, with pride usually attacking prior to an event and guilt exercising its influence afterwards. This is the second of a series of lectures on the forces at work in our spiritual core, and it will try to address a few important questions such as what guilt actually is, from where it originates and the mechanisms involved in creating and maintaining it. The lecture will also try to address feasible ways for healthier life, both physically and spiritually.
