Good Friday with Bach

We invite you for an introspective journey through music as we contemplate the sublime beauty of the Passion Friday. We will show the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra with two choruses, children's choir and world renowned singers in a dramatized performance of J.S. Bach's "St Matthew's Passion." This has been a critically acclaimed production, captured on DVD and a powerfully moving experience. Join us as we meditate on the Good Friday passages of Matthew's Gospel (chapters 26-27 with Bach's added texts for meditation and evocative prayers), set to celestial music and singing. A deeply spiritual and moving journey that we will share at IESS. The event is free and open to the public. We will begin at 10:00am with an opening prayer and the performance should end by 1:00-1:30pm.
